•What is a podcast?
A podcast is a free video or audio series — like a TV or radio show — that you can download from iTunes, or another podcatcher. Podcasts can be played on your computer, iPhone or MP3 player such as an iPod or Zune.

•How do you make a podcast?
Web design students at Winter Park Tech, create podcasts using Gargeband and Final Cut Pro. Once the podcast is ready for distribution, students learn XML to create an RSS feed that delivers the podcast to the user through iTunes or another podcatcher.

The Web Design Podcast is an enhanced audio file created by Winter Park Tech students evry quarter. We seek to bring you the latest news in technology and design.
Each podcast episode features trends in design and development, calls for entries, designer or studio showcases, cool resources, and reviews of great books related to the field.

•How to subscribe to the class podcast?

1. Download iTunes and install it in your computer.
2. Open iTunes.
3. In the "Advanced" menu select "Subscribe to podcast."
4. Copy and paste the following URL address:

5. Click on "GET" to download an episode.
6. Double click the title of the episode to play it.
7. Make sure the "album artwork or video viewer" is on so that you can see the images that play with the audio file.
