The mission of the Web Design program is to prepare students for employment in the field of web design and to provide continuing education to persons currently employed in this or related fields.

:: About Winter Park Tech

Winter Park Tech (WPT) is recognized in Central Florida as the leading technical training center for career and technical education. WPT provides a “High-Tech, High Touch” educational environment, state-of-the-art equipment and an exceptional instructional staff where students develop exceptional technical and soft skills.

Technical training programs focus around the career clusters of Business, Information Technology, Arts and Design, and Health Science. Currently, 26 career certificate programs are offered to adults and high school students. There is also a continuous schedule of academic courses for adult high school credit, GED preparation, academic remediation, adult basic education, and Adult English Literacy/ESOL. Students are prepared for the workforce with exceptional technical skills and employability skills that today’s employers are seeking.

Over 300 business and industry leaders support our work and serve with us to ensure that our programs are industry standard and our teachers are industry trained. We also offer short term classes and customized training to meet the specific needs of business in the areas of computer and health related courses.

Our full-time career center staff will assist you with resume preparation, interviewing skills, and employment opportunities.

6. Financial Aid
Financial aid is available for those who qualify and is need based. We are proud of the fact that our students “graduate with jobs, not loans.” Scholarships are available for students through the school district and the Foundation for Winter Park Tech, Inc. as well.

7. Convenient Schedules
Classes are offered during the day and evening to meet your needs. We also offer classes during the summer to help you move through the program as quickly as possible.

8. Job Placement
We prepare you for the high skill/high wage careers in our community. Our Job Developer is available to assist you in finding just the right job for you!

9. Accreditation
We are fully accredited through the Council on Occupational Education and the Southern Association of Colleges and Schools. In addition, several of our programs are accredited through their associations and agencies.
